MagNet and Bonnier Corporation Announce Enhanced Services Program Agreement

Magazine Information Network, LLC (MagNet), the nation's leading supplier of magazine single copy sales data and analytics, and Bonnier Corporation, a leading publisher of over forty-five magazine titles, including Popular Science, Field and Stream, Outdoor Life and Saveur, announced today that they have entered into an Enhanced Services Program (ESP) agreement. Under the agreement, MagNet will manage and implement Bonnier's single copy distribution strategies and initiatives.  MagNet will support Bonnier's initiatives with analytical services, as well as access to MagNet's complete suite of data modules and reports, including POS data, Cover Analytics and Indexing as well as their cornerstone application, Wholesaler Store Level Sales Analyses.

In announcing the agreement, Vicki Weston, Single Copy Sales Director, Bonnier Corporation stated, "The entire Bonnier team is excited about our new relationship with MagNet and the benefits that our company will realize from the enhanced services that MagNet will provide.  Bonnier will now have the means to implement timely modifications to our distributions that were simply not possible previously. This new model provides us with the ability to reduce our costs of unsold copies as well as to react to sales opportunities in the retail marketplace much quicker than we were able to do so in the past." Gil Brechtel, President of MagNet added, "We are extremely confident that we will be able to help Bonnier significantly improve its profitability in the single copy magazine sales arena. With our timely data, analytical tools and industry experience, we are implementing a new approach as to how magazine titles are allocated to retail accounts. We believe that we will help retailers, wholesalers and suppliers improve their magazine sales and profitability."
